Prison Island (Changuu Island)
Take a short boat ride from Stone Town to Prison Island, one of Zanzibar's most popular attractions. Meet the island's famous giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over 100 years old, explore the historic prison ruins, relax on the white sandy beach, and enjoy stunning views of the turquoise Indian Ocean. You can also swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, home to colorful tropical fish and coral reefs, before returning by boat to Stone Town.
Spice Farm
Visit a local spice farm and discover why Zanzibar is known as the "Spice Island."
