About this experience
Materuni Village is located 15 km north of Moshi, it is the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park, about 95 km from Africa Safari Arusha. Before you reach the village, you will drive slowly past the banana farms and local rural villages. The people are very warm and welcoming, inviting you to their local Materuni home. An English-speaking guide will take you for a walk around the village. After a short briefing, he will guide you on a 40-minute hike to the waterfalls. This magical green environment with tropical trees will lead to the impressive 80 meters high waterfall. Here you can take some time to relax and swim, so please bring your swimsuit.

Itinerary and highlights
This magical green environment with tropical trees will lead to the impressive 80 meters high waterfall.
You will get to go on a coffee tour and get to learn and see how the local Kilimanjaro coffee is processed. Not only that but by the end you will get a chance to even try the delicious coffee.
It will take about an hour and a half the drive from Arusha to where you will begin the hike and the same amount of time driving then back to Arusha. During your drive you will see as you move from the small, but busy city of Arusha to the beautiful greenery you will be passing by.
